Justice Mani Kumar had enrolled as an advocate on November 23, 1983, and had practiced for around 22 years at Madras high court.
Kumar was a senior central government standing counsel from July 2004 and later became an assistant solicitor general.
He was appointed an additional judge of the Madras high court on July 31, 2006, and as a permanent judge on November 9, 2009. Mani was born on April 24, 1961.
